I am a WKU Master of Arts in Counseling student with a main focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a native of Owensboro, KY, and have received a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Sciences at WKU in the Spring of 2023. While studying as an undergraduate and graduate, I have gained copious amounts of knowledge and insight while working on research and being apart of studies in the Stress, Trauma, And, Recovery Lab (STAR Lab) with Dr. Matthew Woodward, as well as being a graduate assistant under Dr. Austin Griffiths at the LifeSkills Center for Child Welfare Education and Research. I hopes to continue to use these experiences while interning at FamilyWorks Therapy on my way to becoming a licensed clinical mental health counselor. I also work as a community assistant at The Registry Apartments where I help assist customers in finding long term housing. This job gives me the opportunity to connect with everyday members of my community.
