From a young age, sports have always been presented as the thing that I needed to excel at. I have always had to prove myself as the right candidate especially when it came to making a sports team. Trying out for a sports team has a great deal of marketing for yourself. I had to market myself to get a tryout with a team. Similarly, I have been making sure that my resume and personal skills are applicable to get an interview. When I got the tryout, I had to do well to make an impression on a coach even though my nerves were at a peak. Likewise, this experience can be depicted as finally getting an interview to impress an employer. Marketing is not something that I started learning about, or doing, when I was in college. I have been marketing my whole life; the only difference is who I am marketing for.I am a marketing major and I am looking to take my experiences that I have gained through playing sports and apply it to a company while expanding my knowledge and skills in the field of marketing.
