The first position I held with Kiewit was a surveyor in the precast yard. I set precise elevations and centreline of the match cast as well as as-builds with levels and total stations. I also processed the daily as-build data in MC3D and Accucast. Currently I hold a position as a Senior surveyor and lead hand on the PMH1 project onshore survey. Performing such field survey tasks as structures, culvert, drainage, pavement, slope staking and earthworks layout. Setting control via traversing, static gps and levelling. As well as monitoring surcharges and various as-built surveys. Office duties include prepping field requests, and processing field work, and creating dxf, csv, rxl, and ttm files to be used by field crews. Programs being used are AutoCAD civil 3d, Trimble business center, Trimble real works and Microsoft excel.

Hired on a temporary basis as a surveyor to layout pile caps and cutoffs on a gas plant with total stations and levels. Uploading data into TSC rangers for the field crews.

Maple Ridge, Bc

The bulk of my time at Terra Pacific was spent placing property pins on the ROW for the Clowhom River Hydro project. Working mostly as a survey assistant. My duties included setting up targets, climbing the steep slopes to set property pins, clearing deadfall, and driving the 4x4 truck on the logging road and occasionally running the gun. Other task included assisting in topos, legal surveys, monitoring and scanning.
