Jamison Narbaitz is a founding partner of Atheria Law, a law firm providing counsel to global insurance and reinsurance clients. Acting as coverage and monitoring counsel, he represents London and U.S. insurers in connection with technology errors and omissions, cyber, media liability, privacy class actions, and intellectual property claims. He has over two decades of legal and insurance experience, including more than a decade litigating coverage actions in federal and state courts on behalf of policyholders and insurers. He has experience with many insurance products, including CGL, commercial property, business interruption / extra expense, EPL, E&O, and D&O. He has written and spoken extensively on issues involving insurance law, civil litigation, and dispute resolution.In 2015, Jamie was seconded to a major London Market coverholder that writes cyber, technology, media and other coverage on behalf of Lloyd's syndicates. He is President of the Board of Directors of the non-profit San Francisco Basque Cultural Center, and serves on the Committee of the Northern California Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). For nearly a decade, Jamie volunteered as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer for the California State Guard, providing legal counsel to soldiers leaving for or returning from deployment overseas, and discharged honorably holding the rank of Captain. Early in his career, he served a secondment as deputy district attorney with the Marin County District Attorney's Office, successfully convicting in five jury trials.Jamie is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California. He has been admitted pro hac vice to practice before federal courts in Oregon, Washington, and Nevada. He is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF), the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and the Olympic Club (San Francisco).
