My Experience can be categorized as that of overcoming and even thriving through adversity. I began my experience as a food service attendant in the aquatic and indoor facilities at Belle Haven Country Club. Through this, I learned to stay on my toes and be ready for variations to plans at a moment's notice. From there I moved outdoors to further round my experience within the club as well as increased benefits for someone my age. Here I learned to better work as a part of a team, each member needed to be aware of the goal before the day started and once aligned everything run like a well-oiled machine. My education is completion and recipient of a High school diploma from Bishop Ireton Highschool as well as a Bachelor's Degree From the Virginia Military Institute. It was at VMI that my Leadership skills were tested and honed. I planned for a few years to join the Army while attending and as such received the same training as an Officer receives before fully Commissioning within the armed forces. Through this training is also participated in Extracurricular activities that would help boost my progress in leadership as well as my experience as a follower. Primarily of such was my time within the S4 of VMI, the duty of the S4 is to provide the logistics for all activities surrounding the school, from driving to field trips to counting how many uniforms each freshman receives. Within this organization, I started as an entry-level job that involved conducting the tasks assigned efficiently, as I progressed I eventually achieved the rank of Sergeant within the S4 placing me in charge of the logistics for the entirety of one of the three Barracks. As a recent Alumni, I am looking for an initial Job in project management where I believe my experience and skills are most applicable.
