Jami Watkins is a graduate of William Peace University, formally known as Peace College. Jami majored in Communication with a concentration in Integrated Media, and also has a minor in English. With her experience as a reporter at Local on Demand and Intern at News 14 Carolina, Jami specializes in video editing, camera operating, and on camera reporting. Jami started her career as The Time Warner Cable Sports sideline reporter/ commentator. Jami has covered a variety of sports including football, volleyball, soccer, and swimming. She also enjoys article writing where she gained 4 years of experience writing for The Peace Times, as well as serving as Copy Editor on the Leadership Team. With a large passion for travel Jami decided to put her journalism career on hold and put her Communication degree to great use as a Flight Attendant. After moving her way up in the aviation industry for over 10 years, she had to hangup her wings in 2020 during the Covid pandemic. She has always felt things happen for a reason and quickly was offered a position with K12 Computers as an Account Manger. With Jami's love for connecting and communicating with people, she quickly found her self loving her new role and after 3 years at K12, she was promoted to Internal Relations. Now as a mother, wife and full time employee, she has mastered the art of multi tasking, problem solving, and focuses on Cultural Growth with the company that she calls home.
