Meet FITZ, a dynamic designer whose passion and conviction drive the vehicle of inspiration to embellish the world through great design.As a proud alumnus of Morehouse College, I made history as the first fashion design graduate, bringing my creativity and unique perspective to a historically Black institution. This journey began with a college transfer from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), a bold move initiated by my parents to see me stand tall within the legacy of Morehouse College. While this shift presented challenges, it instilled valuable lessons that became the foundation of my artistic principles.My journey continued with a focus on Industrial Design at SCAD, solidifying my commitment to authenticity, self-trust, boldness in adversity, and a humble openness to learning new skills. These principles guided me through the early semesters at Morehouse, where I embraced the challenges and became the first fashion design major in the college's history.In 2023, I embarked on a dream opportunity at Nike, serving as a footwear graphic designer for the Serena Williams Design Crew, Cohort 4. This experience allowed me to collaborate with legendary designers, executives, engineers, and mentors, presenting to Serena herself. Working at a global scale, I learned to design high-level products, collaborate with overseas manufacturers, conduct design briefs, and travel for work trips. This transformative experience propelled me out of my comfort zone, reinforced my trust in God, and unveiled my purpose.Believing that great design has the power to heal the world, I infuse meaning into my work. While the designs, colors, and details of my art enhance its appearance, the true significance lies in the story it tells—a narrative mirroring my journey and the principles I uphold in both life and art.From founding, GODFLOW, a global faith-based fashion house & personal development company, to becoming a catalyst for those transitioning to greatness, I am FITZ—bold, risk-taking, and committed to inspiring others on this transformative journey.
