I’m an MBA candidate with five years of experience as an engineer in process improvement. I use data analysis and hands-on processing to determine problems, and collaboration and creative thinking to create solutions. I helped orchestrate a facility renovation and largest equipment acquisition in my company’s history. This required great planning and communication between team members and different departments. The project brought with it the potential to double throughput and decrease costs drastically in a competitive industry.I love learning. When a problem requires me to learn a new skill, I shine most. These self-taught skills include CAD programs, and sufficient C++, VBA, SQL and JMP understanding to carry out the required tasks. With these skills, I have designed building renovations and equipment, built on to custom software, and completed data analysis to find weaknesses or failures in our processes.I thrive in groups. Together with team members, I found and created solutions to high scrap generators, including minor tweaks to process and major overhauls of flow and process structure. These changes and creative solutions saved the company money that went straight to the bottom line.With my technical and collaborative experience combined with business management learning, I am ideally suited to Product Manage in the Tech Industry by bridging the gap between technical work and management.
