CurrentAs a part of the pilot cohort of Resilient Indiana technicians, I support 6 Soil and Water Conservation Districts in Indiana. I focus on activities including outreach at agricultural field days and public meetings, technical assistance with land users on climate mitigation management, conservation planning, engineering surveying, and Conservation Reserve (Enhancement) Programming. My counties include Marion, Hamilton, Madison, Hancock, Henry, and Delaware. I rotate between the offices to provide assistance regularly and attend monthly board meetings.
