As a part of the pilot cohort of Resilient Indiana technicians, I support 6 Soil and Water Conservation Districts in Indiana. I focus on activities including outreach at agricultural field days and public meetings, technical assistance with land users on climate mitigation management, conservation planning, engineering surveying, and Conservation Reserve (Enhancement) Programming. My counties include Marion, Hamilton, Madison, Hancock, Henry, and Delaware. I rotate between the offices to provide assistance regularly and attend monthly board meetings. I also participate in IASWCD and NRCS activities and outreach like workshops, CRP initiatives, and other public outreach.

The National Vice-President of Membership is responsible for verifying membership eligibility, reviewingexisting requirements for membership and overseeing new member intake.Responsibilities:● Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of Sorority membership including all current and previouslyaffiliated individuals● Provide membership reports to the National Executive Board biannually● Review adherence to membership guidelines and verify new member eligibility.● Maintain and continually assess the membership requirements for the Sorority● Distribute associate member paperwork and materials (e.g. associate member manual, contracts)● Collect new member paperwork and approves nicknames for potential initiates● Collect chapter paperwork each term to verify membership and eligibility (eg. roster and gradeverification)● Ensure that all members maintain the required GPA to remain active in the Sorority● Assist the Expansion Committee Chair with review of applications from prospective new members● Oversee new chapter completion of probation period following expansion● Oversee the new member education and recruitment process nationwide● Monitors adherence to national anti-hazing, risk management and new member education policies● Supervision and training of chapter New Member EducatorsRequirements:● Familiarity with database maintenance and administration● Familiarity with hazing and risk management policies● In-depth understanding of associate member process● In-depth understanding of national membership requirements

Regional Directors serve as the primary liaison between chapters in their region and the National Board.Responsibilities:● Maintain open, consistent communication with chapters in the region on a monthly basis● Serve as the liaison between the chapters and the National Board, aiding in communication.● Assist chapters in compliance with standards and regulations set by the Sorority’s National Constitutionand By-Laws, Chapter ByLaws and FIPG.● Follow up on requests from the National Executive Board; including recruitment dates and procedures,chapter events, paperwork and overall status.● Plan annual regional summit● Plan meetings and workshops as needed within the region● Maintain regular contact with Chapter Advisors (i.e. faculty, Pan Hellenic, etc.).● Assist in the planning on national events held in designated region.● Serve as an advisor and mediator in chapter/associate chapter issues.● Assist in maintaining accurate records regarding the chapter membership (roster, alumnae lists).● Assure that chapters have submitted annual/biannual reports and other information in a timely manner.● Assist newly initiated chapters in acclimating to proper associate/chapter operating procedures andguidelines.● Ensure that all reports are submitted on time and completeRequirements:In-depth understanding of the associate member process, national constitution and bylaws and chapterbylawsCompetency in mediation and conflict resolution
