I started with our Calicut offshore team of an initial 5 members. I took the initiative to deeply understand the existing system and the legacy code base, allowing me to help the team grasp the existing implementation. I mentored team members on both technical challenges and business needs, ensuring they were well-equipped to contribute effectively. Since we didn't have any managers, I took on the responsibility of communicating with the management/US team, quickly understanding business requirements and acquiring domain knowledge. I also played a key role in growing the team by hiring new members and providing guidance, which helped expand and strengthen our capabilities.
