Javier Martínez-Torres holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (obtaining the highest qualifications and the extraordinary first prize on graduation). He continued with a M.Sc. in Computer Engineering and the Advanced Studies Diploma (with Honours) currently he is a PhD student at the University of Alcalá as well as Senior Researcher in the Cybersecurity Research Group of Indra Systems. He has participated in national and international science journals and congress and also is a member of the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 IT Security techniques working group.His main areas of interest are the hierarchical attack models, information sharing in cyber security, dynamic risk assessment in information systems, software development methodologies, and formal metrics of security techniques.
