Data Warehouse advisor for a financial institution in Jamaica as part of their Business Intelligence corporate initiative. Responsible for delivering training on SQL Server Analysis Services, Reporting Services and Integration Services 2008 and mentoring the local team to design and implement a business intelligence solution.Architect for a business intelligence solution for a telecommunications company in Panama. My role was to design and help plan the implementation of the Marketing Business Intelligence solution. The main technology used was SQL Server Analysis Services 2008.Architect for an upgrade of SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 of a Tier 1 core banking application in Quito, Ecuador. My role was to validate the configuration of the new SQL Server 2008 infrastructure and help tune the Database engine based on the stress test results. I also provided recommendations to be implemented post migration to take advantage of the new relational engine investment.Architect for a migration of SAP Business Warehouse to SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services for a telecommunication’s company in Panama. My role was to architect and translate the current design of the Business Intelligence solution (OLAP cubes and reports) to Analysis Services. I was also responsible for the development of part of the cubes and for giving guidance on the ETL development.Architect for the migration of a multi-terabyte SQL Server 2000 Data Warehouse for a telecommunication's company in Panama. I was responsible for analyzing the current architecture, generating recommendations to enhance the data loading processes and migration of the databases to SQL Server 2008. Project manager for a Federal Program Electronic Funds solution for a government agency in Puerto Rico. The project involved the creation of a web application to manage the interaction of other agencies management of several internal processes. The technology included Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Developer Resource for the second version of the Citizen Transaction Portal project with the Government of Puerto Rico (PR). Responsible for the design and construction of the transaction engine for the processing of the transactions submitted by the citizens of PR through the use of the Citizen Portal or by other external agencies that consume the solution using web services exposed by the application. The product used to implement the transaction engine was Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2.Consultant for an enterprise project management project at a financial institution in El Salvador. The work included installing Microsoft Office Project Server 2007, having planning sessions with senior IT management and PMO personnel, initial product configuration as a result of the planning meetings and the loading a running project of the IT Department. Planning consultant for the migration of web sites provisioned with Microsoft SharePoint Team Services to the new version, Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services for a financial institution in Mexico City.Data warehouse advisor for a consulting firm in Puerto Rico. This data warehouse integrated information of seven external systems (Vaccination System, Vital Statistics System, Cancer, Women and Infant Support System, Hospital Information System, Public Health Insurance System, Public Health Eligibility System) to create a consolidated view of the health of the citizens of Puerto Rico. My responsibilities included the advisory on the data integration system (Extraction, Transformation and Load), data modeling counseling and finally advisory on the operation of the data warehouse. The main technologies involved where Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Microsoft Reporting Services 2005 and Microsoft Analysis Services 2005.

Lead Developer on a government’s agency Business Intelligence project in Puerto Rico, integrating data from six different agencies (Water, Electricity, Vehicles, Vessels, Property, Government Payroll) and four internal systems (Corporation and Citizen Tax related data) to build an integrated view of the citizens. My main responsibilities included the implementation of the Extraction, Transformation and Loading system for the Data Warehouse, delegation and follow up of other developers work. The main technologies involved were Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and C# development. I worked also with a middle tier host integration product called IWAY, DB2 and VSAM files on the mainframe.C# Developer Resource for a Citizen Transaction Portal with the Government of Puerto Rico. I was responsible to include Regular Expressions validations to the Citizen Transactions input pages. Also participated on the update of several schemas for BizTalk (Application Integration Product).Program Manager and Technical Lead of two Enterprise Project Management implementations on Financial Institution and Insurance Company in Dominican Republic.Business Intelligence Proof of Concept for Financial Institution in Dominican Republic. My role was of Architect and Lead Developer. I was responsible for the design and implementation of the Data Mart or the Credit Card division. The source system data was store in a DB2 database. Business Intelligence Project for Retailer in Dominican Republic. My role was of Architect and Lead Developer. I was responsible for the design and implementation of the Data Mart build to enhance the inventory levels of all the stores. The source system data was store in Informix.

Technical Resource focused on development of reporting components and BizTalk Support for the Health Information System (HIS) implemented by Intheco & Microsoft on the Department of Health of Puerto Rico.Enterprise Process Automation and Integration (EPAI) Project in a Law Firm. The project was divided in three main areas; the implementation of BizTalk Server, of Project Central and finally of Commerce Server and the Intranet. My primary role was to manage the Project Central implementation and at the same time assist the Program Manager of the BizTalk Server implementation. I also participated in the development of the vision/scope document for the whole project, the functional specification, mapping of the business processes with the actual implementation of the components, the integration of their Document Management System with the EPAI backbone and the integration of their Time & Billing System with Project Central. Cognos Portal and SharePoint Portal Server Integration. I was responsible of delivering the integration of these products, which was achieved within a challenging time frame (one week).Intranet Implementation in a Newspaper. I was in charge of the implementation of the portal in a production environment after they concluded a testing period with a SharePoint Portal Pilot. I also was responsible of tuning the software to assure the performance of the solution in production and to deliver operations best practices and recommendations.Intranet Development for an Educational Institution. In two weeks I delivered an Intranet pilot with limited functionality in the IT department working on SharePoint Team Services.

Participation in the CRM Project. The institution was a pioneer in implementing a CRM solution on the country, Dominican Republic. I worked in the EIM Team, making the mapping of the data in the legacy systems, according to the requirements of the business analyst. I also was responsible for the EIM interfaces, I analyzed and make the requirements to the programmers and assured of the quality of functions developed.Leader of the Client’s Project. My role was to analyze and design the changes to the DB2 database and the maintenance applications of the client’s database, keeping focus on preserving/reinforcing the quality of information. Also, keep track of the work of different programmers involved in the deployment of the changes to the client’s core. Coordination of the training to the end user. Establishment of control mechanism for duplicated clients in the database.Programming of Prospect’s Client Application. The application enable the Commercial Business Unit executives keep track of potential clients in order to related them to the institution. It was developed on Borland’s Pascal Programming Language.Creation of logistics and procedures to reinforced data quality in the institution.

Technical Lead in a Credit System Implementation. The application was intended to handle Credit Applications, Automatic Credit Scoring (integrating with a Credit Bureau) and Collections management. I was the IT liaison between the vendor and the institution, including end users, senior management, and other IT staff.Technical counterpart on the SWIFT (Society of Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) implementation. My responsibilities included the deployment and configuration of all the necessary components and coordination with the International Operations department to assure the success of the project.
