I am a professional speaker and team consultant for teams ranging from the NBA to the Big Ten. As an independent John Maxwell certified motivational speaker, leadership trainer and executive coach, I work with teams and businesses across the country helping them maximize their potential for success. I have written 5 published, including “The Bus Trip" and "The Captain". TheLeadershipPlaybook.com is our online leadership program that helps athletes become better teammates and more positive leaders. I am also the host of the "Success is a Choice" podcast, interviewing thought-leaders from various industries. Prior to going into full-time leadership training, I served as the Athletic Director at Marion High School where we won our 8th State Basketball Championship and played host to the 5th largest high school arena in the nation with a capacity of 7,500 people. Before Marion, I spent more than 20 years at the collegiate level as a student-athlete, basketball coach, professor and athletic administrator. In 2014, my basketball team earned the national “Champions of Character” award. I was a head basketball coach at 4 different colleges.
