Responsible for overseeing the regulatory process in conjunction with Clinical Services. This position works with the Operations, Corporate Compliance, Risk Management and Legal departments to coordinate and facilitate decision making in matters related to clinical quality and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Serve to assist facilities to achieve and maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and serve as company liaison to accrediting bodies. Provide support in risk management, clinical services, education and training (clinical leads, safety officers, quality coordinators, infection preventionists). Project leader in the development of survey readiness modules, implemented Q2 and Q3, 2014, that resulted in the average volume of survey deficiencies per facility to decrease by 50% during Q4, 2014.Expert speaker at numerous nationwide seminars/conferences and webinars over quality, regulatory and accreditation issues.Record webinars, develop toolkits, resources and update/create policies that are current with professional best practices.Editor of SCA’s monthly 8 page educational newsletter ‘Key Notes’ and AORN’s Ambulatory Surgery Specialty Assembly’s quarterly publication, ‘Communique’.

Manage staff and provide patient care in areas of preop, pacu, endo, pain and overnight services. Maintain facility compliance with the most recent standards of state, federal, regulatory and accrediting agencies for ambulatory care, maintain QAPI program, Staff Education, Employee Health, Policies and Procedures.
