Liliane Fonds aims to achieve an inclusive society in which children and young people with a disability in developing countries enjoy equal rights and opportunities. To achieve this Liliane fonds partners with networks of grassroots disability inclusion focussed organisations. In these partnerships Community Based Rehabiliation is the central strategy to create an enabling enviroment which empowers children with disabilities. As organizational Development Advisor, I support capacity strenghtening of partners in Burundi, Chad, DRC, Nigeria and Sierra Leone to ensure quality and sustainability of partners and interventions.

Save the Children is a child rights organisation that aims to deliver high quality, inclusive, transformative programs with and for children. As program advisor I was part of the program quality team working on some key challenges in international development: enhancing gender equality and social inclusion, shifting power through localisation and facilitating and stimulating learning. I supported these processes both at organisational level as within two international alliances: Work no Child's Business and Right2Grow.

The Hague Area, Netherlands

The More Than Brides Alliance (MTBA) empowers young people to decide if and when to get married and to make informed choices about their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). The Alliance consists of Save the Children NL (Lead), Oxfam Novib, Simavi and Population Council and is operational in Mali, Niger, Malawi, India and Pakistan. As learning coordinator I was responsible to coordinate the 'Making Most of What we Know' learning project in which the link between female sexuality and childmariage is explored. The aim of the project was to improve interventions by systematically combining implementation experience with scientific research. Results are published here: https://morethanbrides.org/mmwwk/

Partnership coordinator for the Health Systems Advocacy Partnership; between Amref (lead), Health Action International (HAI), Wemos and the African Centre for Global Health and Social Transformation (ACHEST). The Netherlands ministry of foreign affairs is involved as fifth partner and donor. Together partners strengthen civil society to advocate for strong health systems, focussing on Human Resources for Health, SRH commodities, health financing and governance, with the aim that people's right to sexual and reproductive health services can be realized. The partnership is conducted nationally and sub-nationally in Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and at international level. As partnership coordinator I was responsible to facilitate partnership collaboration, stimulate program synergy, linking and learning and coordinate the reporting processes to the Netherlands ministry of foreign affairs.

Addis Ababa

PerspActive is a Dutch cooperative of development organizations focusing to empower the next generation. As Ethiopia Program Coordinator I was responsible to stimulate and coordinate the participation of the members of PerspActive and their local partners in Ethiopia. PerspActive members in Ethiopia included: Tear, Red een Kind, Edukans & DEC, Woord & Daad, Light for the World, Dorcas and ICCO cooperation. My role included, exploring new ways of collaboration, organizing local partners for joint programming and mobilization of resources for the operation of PerspActive in Ethiopia. (0.6fte)Besides my coordination role for PerspActive I was the responsible program officer for ICCO Cooperation's Civic Engagement Alliance (CEA)program in Ethiopia implemented in strategic partnership with the Netherlands ministry of foreign affairs. ICCO cooperation is the Dutch interchurch organization for development cooperation. The organizations mission is a world without poverty and injustice. The CEA program in Ethiopia aimed to strengthen women, people with disabilities and smallholder potato and malt barley farmers to improve their food security and market access through policy dialogue. In Ethiopia the program is implemented in collaboration with PerspActive members, Tear, Edukans, Light for the World and Wilde Ganzen. (0.4fte)

Be More offers volunteer work and travel experiences with local partner organizations in different developing countries. As a regional coordinator I was responsible for the Be More activities, with Community Based Organisations, international volunteers and travel agency's in Malawi. Activities included, small scale development project management implemented by partner organizations, intercultural coaching of travellers and partner organizations, travel logistics and general director of Be More Malawi's social business: Pakachere Backpackers & Creative Centre

The Astrid Uganda Foundation supports educational development projects in Uganda. As a board member I'm responsible for the management of the projects of the Astrid Uganda Foundation.

Action to Support Orphans and Disadvantaged is a Local Ugandan grassroots NGO, which support orphans and other vulnerable children with education and social and economic assistance in Kyebando a slum area in the Ugandan Capital Kampala. At ASOD I worked to strengthen the social work department and raise funds to increase the capacity of the organization.
