During my 25 years at Loyens & Loeff, I’ve gained a broad experience in domestic and international taxation. As an associate, I worked in the offices in The Hague, Amsterdam and London. As a partner, I’ve been seconded to the Dubai office, from where I headed the firm’s GCC practice for approx. five years. Subsequently, I headed the firm’s Employment tax team in the Netherlands. Together with my colleagues of the Employment tax team I assisted domestic and multinational clients on a broad range of employment related tax matters. This includes wage tax and social security advice on compensation & benefits policies, equity incentives, cross-border employment, M&A transactions and dispute resolution. My broad experience in domestic and international taxation enables me to act as a sparring partner for management and inhouse tax counsels to take decisions and find solutions for complex tax matters, or to develop employment related tax policies. Being independent allows me to work only with clients with whom I can build on a long-term relationship to even better understand the clients’ actual needs and concerns.
