Curriculum development consultant

Education reform advice to Uganda National Curriculum Development Center, Luxembourgish Ministry of Education, Kazachstan Ministry of Education. Project proposal writing, planning and budgeting responsibility. Team leader of successful development and implementation of Dutch Caribbean Education reform for early childhood, primary and secondary education (40 local and 4 international staff).

Successful development of secondary education reform implementation plan with high-level ministerial task force and departments.

Successful education sector analysis and development of draft national education reform plan, including multi-year implementation plan. Field consultations with stakeholders and ministerial advocacy.

Project responsibility for the development, implementation and M&E of the Basic Education Improvement Project - Curriculum Component, including primary, secondary and teacher training education. Budget responsibility 1.8 million USD, team of 20 local and international staff. Networking and partnership building with stakeholders and advocacy responsibility with government.

Successful development and implementation of national EFA capacity development strategy, as part of 5-year education sector plan supported by UNICEF. Successful capacity development of national education staff. Budget planning responsibility, high-level ministry advice.

Successful development and implementation of national MPA (minimum package of nutrition) training package. Training of health center staff and village based health volunteers. Networking and partnership building with national and international development organisations.

Delivery of teacher training courses on educational research and reform. Successful development of practical teacher training components in the course programme for teacher training.
