Later, on quasi permanent basis, he helped his remote colleagues based in India or Singapore and served as their backup. As a major contribution to the productivity and the quality of the design teams, all along these years, Jan created around and between all these key tools a very extended set of tools and interfaces, sometimes even adding essential features, some of which ultimately became part of vendors' offering several years after.
