• In charge of designing and producing a variety of metal machine parts in a Water Jet Flow Mach 500 for the manufacturing and assembly of packaging and liquid bottling machines.• Develop and design food processing machines that were requested customized by customers.• Apply my engineering knowledge to replicate bottling, packing, and food processing machines that did not have previous construction drawings. The designing software used to model the machine in 3D was Inventor from Autodesk. This was executed to save the blueprints of the machine for a future manufacturing reference.• Modify machine manuals in order to let the clients understand with more clearness the components and process on how to operate the purchased machine.

Research on how to design a surface that will present less brag force and drag coefficient to increase the human power vehicles speed in the annual competition. Use the basics of sketching to brainstorm the ideas and later apply preliminary dimension given from the frame department.Upgrade the sketches to a 3D model for better understanding of the designed idea.

Apply engineering skills to design a human powered vehicle that can surpass old versions used on past competitions.Use NX-Siemens and Inventor as tools to simulate the structure of the different frames that were thought.Use decision matrix tables to evaluate and select the best wheels and breaks for the vehicle.

• Research and develop an innovative solution for a request to change the handmade production of a company named Bocados to an automatic process in Trujillo Alto P.R. • Visit the company facilities to collect information and interview the operators to later start idealizing the changes into a fully automatic machinery which will combine all the handmade processes. • Use the knowledge I acquire from the university to design and simulate a machine in order to make a simple and concise explanation into how the machine will replaces its handmade process to a more efficient and effective production to the company’s operations.
