About Jan De Wit
As a Software Architect my main passion is to reduce the complexity of application infrastructures, and creating a maintainable software ecosystem. I have a strong passion for learning new technologies to help me accomplish this goal.I started my career building web-applications 15 years ago. Today I build and maintain high performance, highly redundant software ecosystems. Have maintained a logistics (telecom) platform that can handle a few thousand transactions per second with ease. All parts of the platform are fault redundant with automatic failovers. High traffic volumes are well known to me, as is using the available technologies to their fullest potential. Currently I am working on a software ecosystem to automate different aspects of FTTH networks. Cloud based statistics and measurement information are vital to the successful maintenance and operation of these networks.In my free time I like to build things and am tinkering with my 3d printer whenever I am not playing board games with friends. Experienced Software Architect with a history in the telecommunications industry. Skilled in C#, PHP, MongoDB, Mysql, Postgres, Linux, Docker, Azure AKS, Kubernetes, Devops, SMPP, Symfony, OOP, Dependency Injection, Microservices, REST, CQRS and Event Sourcing.
