Strong manegerial skills, technical expertice, an innovative and strategic mindset, business understading, flair for the political dimension of todays business environment and eager to make a difference makes up the backbone of who I am.I served 10 years as professional soldier in the Danish Army and Navy and earned my Marine Engineering degree at the Royal Danish Navy officer’s academy as well as Copenhagen maritime academy.Leaving the Navy I joined the University of Copenhagen research Institute for a shorter period of time before taking a management position at Cook Medical. I have spent the last 15 years in different Engineering management positions which has provided a very broad knowledge and experience in Mangement and Engineering. The latter stretching from support functions like test & validation (Process & SW), Production Engineering, Process Engineering and Automation to development of class III implants. Additionally I have a very firm understanding of todays medical device business environment.I have from the start of my career in the medical device industry been responsible for designing, commissioning, implementing and operating EO sterilisation systems in-house at Cook Medical’s Danish manufacturing site south of Copenhagen.I'm appointed national expert in EO sterilization by the Danish Standards association and a member of ISO/TC 198 ‘Sterilisation of Heath Care Products’ as well as a member of the 'Ethylene Oxide Sterilisation Association' (EOSA) under AAMI.
