The theoretical part included subjects such as meteorology, navigation, aviation law, aircraft systems, aircraft loading, air traffic control, airspace management, flight planning, communication and much more.During the practical training at the ASISTIM Airline Operation Control Centre, I got the chance working between experienced dispatchers and motivated newcomers, to learn everything that is needed to handle the operations for our customers.

Schönefeld, Brandenburg, Germany

During my time at BER Airport i got the chance to have a closer look into various airport processes.I managed passenger check-in and boarding and worked together with ramp agents.I gained insight into operational procedures, trained new team members and lerned about safety requirements.It was both stressful and very exciting to talk to passengers from all over the world and to make their journey work.Most importantly, I expereienced a lot of funny and crazy airport-stories to tell.

Achieved a wide range of military training, demonstrated quick decision-making and effective teamwork in stressful situations.During special basic training, I was the confidant of my unit.Motivating the people around me, taking responsibility and being able to adapt quickly are things that I'm using regularly, even after the service.

Metropolregion Berlin/Brandenburg

In my time at the company, I learnt a lot about metal processing, tool handling, working with aviation-specific documents and various manufacturing methods like CNC machines and 3D printing.At the end of my apprenticeship I also trained newer apprentices.During the theoretical part, I learned about piston and jet engines, mechanical and electrical systems, different materials, important aspects of human factors and company operations.I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and work at Rolls-Royce and look forward making use of this in my future career.
