Update 2019In October 2018 I joined Bluestone to help this startup get off on the right foot. This amazing center offers ABA therapy to children, ages 2-7, on the autism spectrum.I retired at the end of December 2017 for the third and final time. I’m looking forward to spending time with our grandchildren and traveling with George.Prior to retirement, I worked for Visiant as a Senior Business Analyst in their Southfieldd location.In September of 2015, I finished my third expat experience with my husband. His job has taken us to Australia, South Korea and, for the last two years, China. Living overseas has been an adventure that we have enjoyed for six of the last twelve years.I owned and managed a martial arts studio in Livonia with a Korean Grand Master for three years. We closed the business when Master Jeong could not get a new visa to remain in the US.I was hired to manage the billing and collection department of a large national law firm headquartered in Detroit.Hired and trained audit staff for an insurance broker and TPA to review carrier invoices against customer bills to improve accuracy and reduce loss.Manager in charge of billing, collections and company banking relationships for an environmental consulting firm over a period of 23 years. Managed a total of 20 staff in 10 states and held annual meetings in various states to promote teamwork and consistency throughout the department.As part of the executive team at the corporate office, I was involved in due diligence activities from both ends of the transaction at different times and assisted in integration plans for acquired offices.
