The Non-Violence Project Foundation (NVPF) promotes and assists the communication and interaction of young people around the world. The overall objective is to create a radical shift in attitudes towards violence through violence prevention and conflict resolution education programs for schools and for the sport environment. NVPF strives to teach how leadership can be an alternative to negative behaviour and to inspire, motivate and engage young people in positive action to make our communities safer and healthier. NVPF is active on five continents and has educated and trained more than 9 million young people, teachers and sport coaches around the world. Our educational programs cover topics such as conflict management, harassment, racism, violence prevention, self-esteem, multi-cultural differences, bullying, and leadership.Through our national Non-Violence organizations we also support, guide and serve various local communities around the world in their effort to stem violence. The organization has received more than 100 international and national awards for Best Practice.
