• Veteran of 5 Broadway shows including the original company of "The Phantom of the Opera".(Christine and Carlotta) Worked with legends Bob Fosse, Gwen Verdon, Hal Prince, Sting ,Yoko Ono. Toured as Grizabella in CATS. Sang "The Bernstein Mass" at the Vatican in Rome, Italy• Concert soloist with over 130 major symphonic orchestras around the world including Chicago, Philadelphia, Shanghai,Hong Kong, Rio De Janeiro, Israeli Philharmonic, Rochester, Atlanta, Cincinnati, National Symphony in Wash DC.•Voice Teacher. Worked at NYU - CAP 21 teaching voice to musical theater students from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Currently maintain a private voice studio in New York City.• Composer of original songs including "Immigrant's Anthem which had its premiere with the Cincinnati Pops in 2005. Solo CD of all original songs entitled "Never Too Late... the songs of Jan Horvath" released in 2008. Member of BMI.     I have performed in 5 Broadway shows including the original cast of "The Phantom of the Opera", "Sweet Charity" directed by Bob Fosse and "The Three Penny Opera" starring Sting. I toured as Grizabella in CATS and have starred in many Off Broadway and regional productions as well. Currently I sing Pops Concerts with Symphonic Orchestras all over the world! I have performed with over 130 different orchestras- many of them multiple times.(For a full listing go to JanHorvath.com) I sing mainly the Broadway repertoire but have also gotten to sing my own compositions with several renowned orchestras including the Cincinnati Pops and the Rochester Philharmonic. In 2008 I had the pleasure of making my own solo CD of all original compositions entitled "Never Too Late... the Songs of Jan Horvath". I also maintain a private voice studio, guiding the next generation of Broadway Babies toward realizing their dreams!
