In-depth product and contract knowledge is required for the timely billing and accuracy. This billing process generates $160 Million in revenue a year. Within the first year of managing the system, was able to document, change processes, and comply with all Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) initiatives. These changes initiated by my leadership resulted in Passing of Audits as well as increased margins. My team received the “Increasing Our Margins Award” in Supply Management for all the positive changes that were implemented. During the initial year the emphasis was to cleanse the data, document and resolve all production issues, and work closely with Supply Management to get the necessary enhancements to make the system operational. Data cleanup was coordinated, updated and validated via back-end SQL queries and tools. Identified and coordinated manual processes into automated processes, which in turn reduce data inconsistencies. Duties, included ah-hoc query support, gathering business requirements, working with the development team to design, code, and test these changes. As the system grew, emphasis shifted to new requirements, such as Distributor VDA’s, Product Compliance, Vendor Compliance, and the addition of new distributors into the system.
