Prior to his current role, Miebach was Managing Director of e:cue lighting control a position that allowed him to skillfully harness his entrepreneurial passions for lighting and control solutions, and bring them to the global market.Miebach began his career in lighting in the late 1990’s as an entrepreneurial Partner at LightLife GmbH. Based in Cologne, Germany, LightLife combined creativity with commercial, technical, and project management skills, resulting in modern contributions to dynamic lighting installations.In 2006, Miebach became Managing Director of e:cue lighting control, a state-of-the-art control and automation company established in 2001. In his role as Managing Director, Miebach introduced innovative ideas and strategy in both product and business development, thus carving a niche for e:cue while shaping the company’s core values relating to products, practices, and people. Miebach’s major contributions to the development of e:cue have revolved around his quest to make creativity more accessible. With precision, Miebach sculpted e:cue’s product portfolio and service offering incorporating a keen sense of innovation and sophistication, which led to e:cue’s growth and development into a global entity when it combined with Traxon Technologies in 2008. Miebach then assisted with successfully integrating the company in 2009, into a joint venture with OSRAM.With over 10 years of experience in business management and lighting control systems, Miebach continues to propel Traxon |e:cue. Miebach draws from all of his experiences as an entrepreneur, developer, and creative, bringing a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the industry while inspiring everyone with whom he has worked.
