Bol Retail Media Groep represents the digital advertising group of bol.com and is in full control of the digital campaign process. Products such as sponsored products, display advertising and social advertising are developed in-house. My role within this organization is to standardize and propagate the domain model and data model within the organization. With an approach based on Domain Driven Development (DDD), I provide visual concepts to stimulate the jaron within the teams. In addition, I am involved in developing API endpoint definitions so that advertising products can be purchased by sellers and suppliers. I perform this role across the entire width of the organization and have a strong relationship and dependence with the architects in the domain. Practically, I have a strong relationship with the development teams responsible for the advertiser products. As a result, I am also active in the scrum cadence of some teams where the demand for information analysis is high at a time in the roadmap of the product in question.

As an agile coach responsible for the agile working method within the valuestream supply chain. In addition to facilitating and organizing the scrum and kanban events, I am mainly concerned with refining the requirements process. The biggest challenge in this process is to involve the business in the MVP idea when drawing up and developing business cases. Regularly initiating initiatives where architecture, product management, program management and development teams are brought together. Halfway through the process, I took responsibility for the integration of an offshore initiative.

bol.com Retail Media Groep asked me to facilitate a strategy session for the product management team. At a beautiful location Kontakt der Kontinenten, we made great strides in personal and shared vision and mission definition, organizational structure and alignment, business model visualization, value proposition design and recalibrating product roadmaps in three interactive days.After three intensive days, this product management team has come a lot closer together and we are working hard on the future. My role in this short assignment was to set up the workshop according to the needs of bol.com, to facilitate the group during these three days and to guide the group through the business models and various canvases to achieve the desired output.

Agile transformation of the Philips Digital Marketing (Personal Health BNL) team. Responsible for developing and implementing the transformation process in which training, knowledge sessions, scrum master and personal coaching are the core activities. In this assignment, kanban, design thinking and scrum have been combined to give the team the mindset, tools and principles to act on consumer needs. The highlight of this process is winning the Philips Excellence Challenge BNL. An internal event in which distinctive teams receive recognition for an approach and/or contribution to the organization. On a quarterly basis I remained active for Philips D2C Europe to organize the strategy quarterly sessions. The goal in these quarterly sessions is to achieve team alignment and a roadmap of product development and marketing initiatives.

For Valtech I worked as a business analyst for a new tool from Pon Automotive. During this process I translated the wishes of Pon Automotive into a first working version of the product. During this process, a so-called “walking skeleton” was used, in which attention is first focused on a working chain of services. Because of this approach, the impediments for the team came to light early on. After the chain was realized, more and more attention was paid to user experience. In addition to specifying the requirements for the team, I had a strong role in the project approach. Setting up a release cadence and presenting the project plan were part of this.

As a Consultant I advise companies in the solution architecture, deployment strategy and software selection. Beside the technical aspects I take people and process into account.
