I have been in the field of education for many years in a variety of capacities. I was a director for an alternative school which provided a hands-on learning experience for children from preschool through sixth grade. My teaching style brings that experience to the public model and integrates the two approaches. My years in education has taught me that children do their best learning in an environment that is supportive and nurturing. Children reach their potential when they feel good about themselves. My goal as an educator is to give children the tools and interest in becoming lifelong learners who are active participants in their communities and are happy and successful in the life works they eventually choose to pursue.
