Employed as a field Production Technician (embedded with assigned Inpex operations team) to provide operational support for commissioning and startup activities in various areas. These areas include Utilities, Inlet, CCPP (Combined Cycle Power Plant) and both LNG Trains. Core role responsibilities include (but are not limited to):• Act as additional Area Authority, Isolation Authority and Authorised Gas Tester within assigned area and in accordance with current ISSoW (Integrated Safe System of Work) procedures• Maintaining compliance with all ISSoW activities• Proactively identifying and controlling workplace hazards to ensure the safety of self, colleagues, other site workers and equipment• Procedure development, field validation and review• Carry out critical valve testing, dry outs and leak testing where required• Execution of machinery OTP’s (Operational Test Procedures)• Support PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review)• Carry out and document process lineup and red spade checklists• Carry out process lineups (according to procedure) and walkdowns• Liquid nitrogen, diesel, amine, heating medium and other chemical loading/unloading• Submitting work instructions for maintenance and repairs, assisting with plant shutdown repairs, performing regular fault-finding activities, and conducting minor maintenance where possible • Preparing equipment for maintenance and returning equipment to service• Promptly responding to process upsets in operational areas, rectifying where possible and escalating if required.

Employed as a Production Technician to provide safe and efficient operation and optimisation of process critical plant, equipment and control systems within the 225 tonne per day (TPD) Cryogenic Air Separation Unit (producing oxygen and nitrogen), 22 TPD Steam Methane Reformer Plant (producing hydrogen) and 25 tonne per hour waste heat boiler, core role responsibilities include (but are not limited to):• Operation and maintenance of live continuous processing circuits and associated plant and equipment, quickly responding to process upsets to safely maximise production and minimise plant downtime• Submitting work instructions for maintenance and repairs, assisting with plant shutdown repairs, performing regular fault finding activities, and conducting minor maintenance where possible • Promoting and maintaining strict compliance with all site based and corporate health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and safe systems of work• Proactively identifying and controlling workplace hazards to ensure the safety of self, colleagues, other site workers and the valuable equipment being worked with• Maintaining compliance with all Permit to Work (PTW), isolations and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) systems and procedures• Promptly responding to process upsets to maximise production, rectifying where possible and escalating if required• Identifying, developing and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement in process and procedures• Executing cryogenic fractionation of air into liquid oxygen and nitrogen products• Comprehensive review and amendment of ASU and SMR procedures• Preparing equipment for maintenance, isolations and test for dead.

ACEPT is the leading provider of process operations training for the Australian oil and gas, mineral and chemical processing industries. The ACEPT Centre has a fully operational closed loop process train that utilises an instrument air unit, separates nitrogen from air, separates oil from water, stores the individual chemicals and recombines the chemicals. It also uses Honeywell process controllers and has a Yokogawa simulator of a distillation tower, instrument air, furnaces and heat exchangers. Employed as a Plant and Facilities Technician upon completion of studies to administer daily operations of the ACEPT and Marine Fabrication campuses (including ACEPT hydrocarbons processing plant), core role responsibilities included (but were not limited to):• Maintained strict compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation across the ACEPT and fabrication campuses to proactively contribute to the collective achievement of Zero Harm and Incident Injury Free objectives• Conducted regular hazard assessments, operational diagnosis for defects (and associated reporting requirements), and managed contractors• Efficiently coordinated unit start-ups, shutdowns and safe preparation/isolation of equipment for maintenance• Worked safely with all Permit to Work (PTW), isolations and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) systems and procedures• Maintained compliance with the safety management system to meet Shell business partner requirements• Provisioned the Permit to Work (PTW) system for pertinent preservation of plant maintenance activities• Effectively liaised with internal and external customers to understand needs and meet expectations• Formulated workflow schemes with requisite procedures.
