My position is not only about IT, but it includes leading of PMO for the whole company. I’m responsible for delivering business and IT projects for Equa bank. In my competence are also IT Architecture, IT Analysis, Implementation, Testing and Release and Problem management departments. Team is made up of about 130 people. Half of our applications are delivered by external partners. I report directly to the BoD.Agile - we are one of the few companies in Czech, that is not experimenting with Agile anymore. We have Agile successfully adopted to our DNA. And now we are experimenting beyond that topic2013:I restarted the PMO and IT Development of Equa bankMy mission for first year was a massive turn-around of Project management and IT and most of my work was about crisis management due to previous problems with budget, projects and organization of people. I had a focus on production stabilization and recovery of IT- Replacement of 90% of original people, start of insourcing (gain internal know how, save budget, engage culture)- Built from scratch the PMO, Analysis and Testing department, stopped experimenting with Agile (plan to come back with Agile elements after stabilization)- Started simplification of architecture, put in place control of budget, renegotiation of contracts2015-2020:Bringing agility back to Equa bank - 2 speed IT was the right way for Equa (combining Agile and other methodologies)Implement new strategy how to become "Fintech" on IT side and how to engage business side of company- Delivered tens of key business projects combined with hundreds of smaller ones - Setup of Portfolio and project management to properly handle projects and other demands in the company- Bring massive automation and transition to continuous integrationI like my work, challenges and I’m grateful to my close colleagues for the above amazing success story in Equa - it can’t be handled by single person
