As Ambassador for Pickleball in the greater La Crosse, Wisconsin region, I have created a network for Pickleball players with a website (greaterlaxareapickleball.jimdo.com) email communication, Facebook pages, twitter and instagram. In addition, I teach new people how to play Pickleball. Along with the communication and teaching, I have promoted the sport of Pickleball to surrounding communities. I have added Pickleball programs to both La Crosse and Onalaska Parks and Recreation as well as leading clinics at the YMCA in Onalaska. I have worked with La Crosse city council in the development of dedicated Pickleball courts in the city. I am also the co-director of the River Valley Pickleball Tournament at the Winona, MN tennis center which called on me to set up a website, work with a 3rd party website for tournament promotion and payment, and then the tournament itself (rivervalleypaddlebattle.jimdo.com)

My husband and I mentor couples that are engaged to be married by meeting with them 6-8 times for 90 minutes each. Using the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment and materials and additional materials as needed for each couple, we raise awareness of areas of strength as well as areas to improve upon in order to give them the tools to make their marriage that lasts a lifetime.

Key Points: Through AAT (Animal-Assisted Therapy), my dog and I provided comfort and welcome distraction to the daily hospital routine. I enjoyed conversations with the hospital patients and their families. Within six months of AAT work at Soin Medical Center, I was named the trainer for all new AAT teams coming into the hospital. In addition, again as a volunteer, I was asked to be a part of a 3-person team to learn the patient empowering health system and develop the manual for it within a 3 month period. Following that, I conducted 95% of the training sessions for over 100 volunteers on the system.As an AAT team, we also got to meet with veterans as well as college students who needed a distraction during finals week.Our time as an AAT team ended when we moved away from Ohio and then our beloved dog got cancer and passed away in early 2018.

My goal was to engage adults in ministry and service by helping them discover and use their spiritual gifts. I helped to get them engaged in the life of the community at the church via small groups, Sunday School, and serving opportunities. I helped to set up an online church database system (Church Community Builder), trained volunteers and church staff on how to use it, and created systems of tracking and connecting with guests who came for the first time through engaging in the life of the church to possible membership.I was mentored from 2011-2013 by Vernon and Charlene Armitage, founders of E2, and currently on the Willow Creek Community Church staff.

Working with many volunteer teams, I facilitated the planning and implementation of the worship services each weekend. The responsibilities included planning all aspects of the worship service, except the sermon, which included the worship music and rehearsing the teams for it; preparing all technical aspects from the screen to the technical scripts for sound and lighting teams to use for the service; organizing the greeting and usher teams; organizing the fellowship teams; and facilitating the worship environment team to visually create the stage in a way that supported the current sermon message theme. All administrative aspects of each area were my responsibility as well, including reporting to CCLI.Special services (Lent Services, Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve) that included choral works were additional responsibilities and avenues for more volunteers to participate.

I founded, recruited for and directed local chorale group who were then invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in June of 2007. I then coordinated logistics of rehearsals, concerts and then travel to highly regarded performance at Carnegie Hall.

• Exceeded “standard” goals for social studies education for the state of South Dakota by 4% in one year.• Planned and successfully implemented local field trips as well as trips to Washington D.C. and Mexico.• Directed the students to their first state level competitions in both drama and speech programs and maintained that level of excellence while I was there.

In this summer stock theatre company, I performed in 41 children's theatre shows (Snow White, Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, etc) and directed 5 shows from 1995-1998. Throughout tenure, helped with all technical aspects of the show as well, from lighting to set design and construction.
