• Reviewed 300+ piping schematics to construct a comprehensive fluid transportation system diagram that transported fracturing water 30 km between storage and processing facilities• Designed excel spreadsheet incorporating 150+ parts, each with component dimensions, fluid velocity, flow area, and many other relevant fluid characteristics, either calculated or measured• Utilized spreadsheet to isolate areas of high pressure loss, and identify feasible piping replacements• Communicated with engineers, field workers, and geologists to gather information and problem solve• Successfully redesigned and implemented new components to improve submersible pump flow rate, and lower head loss in problem areas
