Assists the legal organization, in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the day-to-day operations of documentation and electronic discovery process. Responsible for document preservation, collection, review, processing and production activities related to legal proceeding. Ensures the practices are accurate, cost efficient and legally defensible. Utilizes appropriate technologies to reduce the burdens associated with the need to collect and review the ESI created, received, stored, and subject to production by the company in legal proceedings. Interact heavily with outside counsel, external and internal business clients and vendors on legal documentation requests and document retention related to complex litigation.Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of legal field and the corporate structure to the completion of complex assignments. Conducts and supervises broad legal assignments, necessitating ability to evaluate matters which may have a major bearing on the conduct of the organization’s business. Manages multiple projects in a fluctuating environment. Possesses . Manages, assigns and plans the use of (often external) resources for given litigation tasks or projects. Manages nationwide Customer Arbitration Project, coordinating with across every spectrum of the business to insure that all customers receive the revised Arbitration Clause as well as periodic bill messages regarding arbitration.Receives, delegates, and resolves arbitration disputes nationwide. Interfaces with the American Arbitration Association to insure company policy guidelines are met. Acts as arbiter in escalated dispute resolution with consumers. In addition, acts as an intermediary to resolve arbitration actions filed against the Company prior to hearing dates.Provides research services to the Legal staff as well as document collection for major litigation cases.Interviews potential witnesses and gathers documents for major litigation cases.

 Management of Service of Process Using broad knowledge of litigation process encompassing all states and territories AT&T Mobility provides services in, receives, reviews and coordinates all legal service of process, analyzing large amounts of legal documents and disseminating to appropriate legal teams nationwide daily.  Using numerous computer programs, researches and reports status of legal filings to Associate General Counsel and Attorneys. Manages relationship with AT&T Mobility’s Corporate Registered Agent. In 2006 and 2007, acted as Office Manager directing work to the paralegals and legal assistants, conducted performance evaluations, hired and supervised temporary staff and worked with the Human Resources department and the Legal Administrator in the restructuring of the Paralegal job classification to comport with Department of Labor standards. Additionally, assisted in the development of a software solution for document and file storage, meeting requirements of corporate document retention policy and ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Planned and executed Annual Legal Conferences and other departmental activities.

 Receive all services of process, over 100 a month, read and assess case type for each service. Proficient in the use of CSC and CT Corporation (Cingular’s Registered Agents) websites to capture all services of process as they are scanned into the websites. Track all law suits into Tymetrix electronic billing and case management system, assigning each case to the appropriate attorney or paralegal depending on the type of case and region. Produce quarterly litigation report. Support four attorneys, managing travel, expense accounts, calendars, e-mail and files. Maintain relationships with the subpoena compliance department as issues arise regarding records and cases.  Communicate regularly with outside counsel law firms to assist with billing issues, document management, etc. Assist in document retention and production as needed.
