Treating with a Mission is an independent association, whose aim is to provide development aid to Kenyan hospitals by shipping medical equipment and conducting workshops for the personnel. Treating with a Mission is a unique project made up of medical, dentistry, midwifery, optometry students and doctors. We’ve started as a student society at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences and thanks to the passionate involvement of its members, it evolved into a sub project of the foundation we’ve been working with at the time and then into an independent association focusing on the improvement of the quality of medical care in the countries of the Global South, as well as training and mobilisation of the medical sciences’ students from all over Poland.As vice president, I am responsible for organizing project work in Africa, obtaining funding and partners in Poland. I had the opportunity to cooperate in large companies such as Toyota Motor Polska or Deutsche Bank. The effectiveness of my work is evidenced by the fact that every year the Association achieves its financial goals, acquiring its funds practically entirely from private companies and donors.In addition, I gained experience in the field of public speaking, having the opportunity to appear at numerous medical conferences and speak for the boards of companies with whom we cooperate.

Mainz

I was doing medical internship at the Department of Urology, Universitätsklinikum Mainz. I assisted in medical procedures and patients admissions. This was also my first contact with Da Vinci operations. My internship was fully in German language.

Conducting medical research grant from MNiSW - "Najlepsi z Najlepszych 2.0". The study investigated the possible implication and mechanism behind ischemic preconditioning, using a novel non-invasive technique. The results of the study were presented on prestigious international medical conferences organized by the European Society of Cardiology and others.

Dresden, Germany

I was doing a medical internship at Herzzentrum Dresden. I was involved in the medical work of the Cardiology Department. I took part in the examinations, medical procedures, and lectures. The greatest emphasis was put on the ECHO and ECG examination The internship was in the German language.

In ZHR I was a leader, creating a new scouting environment from a scratch. As part of my function, I was involved in organizing the work of the team and annual summer camps up to 120 people. Then as a Superwisor, I was responsible for the work of several scout teams in Poznań. Activity at ZHR taught me the basics of project planning and human management.

Being in Harambee I conducted 2 medical projects in Kenya (2016 and 2017). I was responsible for gathering the necessary funds and organizational matters. The projects have resulted in implementing the telemedical ECG in Kenyan hospital, with the cooperation of an innovative polish company.
