Coordinated multi-disciplined engineering work and was primary interface with customer. o INEOS Melamines – Cooling Tower Design Project: $3.8 Million total project cost, $1.06 Million for engineering / management. Provided process engineering as part of engineering team. o Performed preliminary engineering, ChemCAD modeling, and economic analysis (capex / opex) for state-of-the-art technology development for carbon black manufacturing. o Supported division integration within the firm, including collaboration on bidding work in the New England area and pre-qualification for government engineering and contracting opportunities for over 50 projects (including DCAMM, CT DAS, and university on-call contracts) with contract values of up to $10 million. o Performed process engineering for the chemical industry, the power industry, public and private bidding. Performed research involving the resistance of ethylene co-polymers against chemicals found in personal care products. Executed experiments and convened with group members to share data, including conversations in German. The following summer, tested and compared polymers for specific cosmetic and antistatic applications. At the conclusion of the research studies, formally presented all research findings, conclusions and recommendations in front of and audience of 7 company engineers and managers.
