My interest in healthcare began when I was contracted by my local community hospital as a vendor for event production services and worked directly with the marketing department and hospital Foundation. I knew personally it’s administrators, employees and local business supporters. My community hospital and the impact it had on our community was very much in the forefront of my interests. The relationship with our hospital was a natural part of my life.My interests in healthcare grew as I continued to learn of the business operations of the hospital that impacted the well-being of our community and it intrigued me further. I found healthcare even more interesting and I pursued certification in Medical Staff Services as Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist and Certified Professional Medical Services Management.Being a manufacture and exporter of aluminum stage truss my attention to safety heightened when the Indiana State Fair Sugarland concert tragedy gained international attention. The concert business industry stood still in unbelief. A renewed sense of precaution and safety enveloped the industry and myself. My unique background in healthcare, manufacturing and production services has given me a diverse perspective of the components of risk and gives me an underlying passion to get it right.
