- Investigation of nutrient budgets, transport and legacies in river basins (including the Norrström basin, Sweden) - catchment-scale modelling as well as data processing and acquisition.- Investigation of climate change impact on groundwater transport of contaminants within coastal landscapes

- Main research subject: Basin-scale spreading of pollutants and wetlands’ opportunity for reducing them.- Thesis: Sediment Transport from Source to Sink in the Lake Baikal Basin: Impacts of HydroclimaticChange and Mining.- Work as a teaching assistant of: · Risk Management – cost-benefit analysis, Implementation of EU Water Framework Directive, ecological economics, uncertainty analysis, flood extent modelling (computer laboratory and seminars). · Hydrogeology – groundwater spreading of pollutants (students’ supervision and laboratory exercises). · Water Resources Research - basin-scale data analysis (e.g., water discharge, climatic data, sedimentload and pollutants), modelling and field observations (e.g., water discharge measurements)(students’ supervision and laboratory exercises).

- Identification of surface water supply protection area (Bydgoszcz, Poland)- Modelling of contaminants transport in surface waters (HEC-RAS): nitrogen and phosphorus cycles as well as transport of conservative and non-conservative pollutants.- Data acquisition and analysis, development of hydrological models, writing of hydrological reports,consultations with customers and end-users (e.g., local water suppliers).
