OrderWare Solutions develops software for outsourcing and shared service organisations, main products are Javelin and Fusion.Javelin is the leading edge, event-driven business process management engine that underpins a complete family of products / solutions and includes graphical design environment, data transformation engine, web services, event-driven architecture, workflow automation engine, workflow inheritance and so much more.Fusion is a well thought out and architected integration solution that covers all integration requirements (boss's words). It can basically integrate anything to anything.There are a number of solutions built around Javelin and Fusion:- On-line ordering- Print- Procurement- Supply chain- Field serviceI am responsible for a number of these solutions, from a service delivery / customer support perspective, while also developing custom workflows for customer-specific deployments / requirements as well.Workflow inheritance makes this so easy by allowing pre-developed business processes to be extended or overridden, instead of having to rewrite the processes from scratch if a slight "tweak" is required.Did I mention that I love my job, and love these products?Watch this space!!

When I commenced work at Eagle Technology, I took over sole responsibility for the Cable Price Parts Management System project upon the departure of the incumbent project leader. This involved project management, system analysis, programming and training.In early 1990, Eagle Technology became a distributor for the MPAC Asset Management and Procurement system, and I became the sole implementation / support consultant for the product. A portion of this responsibility was programming and modifications of the system.
