Coordinate implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards, (NGSS) and STEM for k-12 schools, create a cadre of teachers leaders and Professional Learning Communities, develop and present Professional Development for NGSS and Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

Design,develop, and deliver mentoring and induction professional development in the areas of STEM education.Currently working with Sasol Inzalo Foundation, Johannesburg, South Africa to develop a sustainable STEM mentoring, induction and mentor training programs.

Collaborate with grant funded STEM Learning Communities; coach and support staff at multiple low-income, multicultural After School centers in San Francisco. Provide coaching and training in; Pedagogy, STEM lesson planning and presentation, inquiry, questioning, STEM careers and pathways. Engage staff in observation cycle and provide data for research and evaluation team.

As a Science Coordinator for the Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) and the Integrated MIddle School Science Partnership( IMSS),a multimillion dollar National Science Foundation Math Science Project. Provided; science professional development that integrates Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards and is grounded in research-based, promising science instructional practices, and helping to build district capacity and teacher leadership. I have been with the project since its inception and helped develop the model that includes creating collaborative groups of science teachers in grades 6-8, developing cadres of teacher leaders, improving Science content and teaching practices and incorporating STEM into the curriculum and support these initiatives by developing and presenting professional development and trainings and facilitating Lesson Study. Utilizing Cognitive Coaching skills, coaching teachers in content, team facilitation and leadership skills. I collaborate with Science faculty at the California State University to develop science and STEM content trainings for teachers. In addition I serve as a regional leader for Science Education as a representative to the State of California Curriculum and Instruction Steering Committee (CISC) and Curriculum Instructional Leadership Committee (CILC).
