Architected automated integration for Cisco’s commercial Cloud/SaaS software groups to submit their release candidates to Cisco’s complex enterprise license compliance/vulnerability ecosystem – a Cisco requirement for software release.• As an architectural advisor to Cisco’s Cloud software groups, I had to understand their software/DevOps architecture, release processes, and associated artifacts (microservices, container images, etc.) to help them automate/maximize efficiencies in achieving green status for release.• System above checked for 3rd party software library vulnerabilities (via NIST), also validated 3rd party license compliance. Software release was not allowed until all red issues addressed by software team.• Modified Python script that generated report from 2 system databases to track compliance/success of onboarding efforts.• Conducted extensive data analysis of software groups currently using system vs. those not using system.• Advised software groups on what Product Security Baselines they needed to meet in order to gain approval for release.• Identified and recommended complimentary software solutions/tools to this integration process – e.g. Cisco CSB CICD.
