For more than Four decades I have led outstanding teams of clinicians and administrators to achieve sustainable success by emphasizing collaboration, continuous improvement, and inclusivity. I value the relationships I have made over the years and have learned a great deal from working directly with all levels of staff, and being a C-level executive.My success within the healthcare field is founded in my clinical background, as I was the 7th licensed Orthotist/Prosthetist in Florida. Over the years I transitioned into an C-Level executive role, and operated managed large practices which were sold to publicly held companies. I have built expertise in a range of business management areas, such as P&L accountability, resource allocation, strategy development, and vendor management, and De Novo growth.Throughout my career I have championed sustainable business practices; in my current role as President and Chief Clinical Officer, I have completed extensive restructuring which resulted in the reversal of negative trends. Together with our executive team, we have achieved positive results.In addition to my professional endeavors, I am a strong community advocate and proved instrumental to the generation of $17M+ in donor funds for the construction of the Level One pediatric trauma center in Central Florida. I have served as liaison for the Florida Board of Orthotists & Prosthetists and the Agency for Healthcare Administration. Following the acquisition of Saunders Prosthetics & Orthotics, I moved into an executive leadership role at Level Four Orthotics & Prosthetics Inc.. I had the direct the daily operations of a multi-state organization employing 200+ personnel across 42 facilities. On a daily basis, I partner with our talented C-level leadership team to drive the development of new operating strategies, cost reduction initiatives, and employee programs. My goal has long been to improve the quality of prosthetics and orthotics services, and to this end I provide executive oversight to improvement projects within a wide range of service areas, such as clinical compliance, facilities management, billing, and accounting. I am dedicated to the establishment of a collaborative, inclusive environment and have actively encouraged team building and training at all organizational levels. Highlights of my accomplishments include:◆ Progressed through various positions of C-level leadership, including President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Clinical Officer, and advised corporate teams to influence positive change. ◆ Stabilized operations following several transitions in executive leadership and boosted employee morale to catalyze considerable gains in performance. ◆ Implemented operational framework reversed negative trends in 2015.◆ Cut travel expenses by 35% nationwide through the introduction of procedural improvements and new fiscal policies.
