I have dedicated my career to expanding my experience and skills within international supply chains, particularly in the area of pallets and distribution. I've worked for leading closed pool services provider CHEP for almost 9 years in different roles. I started in the entry KAM role being responsible for the Retail partners such as Lidl, Kaufland, and Tesco. I got promoted into a Managerial role later, adding on team management and development, strategic projects, and pallet (asset) management with objectives directly linked to the bottom-line performance of the business unit.The key part started in 2017 when I took over the Commercial Manager role and started the Sales transformation process. I changed the overall Business Strategy and market approach from transactional sales to a conceptual, strategic. This approach has brought deeper customer understanding and thus increased success ratio of the new business acquisition. After almost 9 years in CHEP in various roles, I felt a change is needed so I accepted the offer from TESCO that I was addressed with. I was able to understand large retail chains from the inside and it was highly precious for my supply chain perspective. I later moved from Distribution to the Operations Development team as the Lead Project Manager.In 2021, I signed up for a rather entrepreneurial challenge (and a huge leap out of my comfort zone) by taking over the overall responsibility of the commercial performance, strategy and marketing activities of GOPALL, the newly established pallet open pool operator. GOPALL is a disruptive model enabling the companies to lower their cost substantially while removing up to 75% of their Carbon Dioxide footprint.
