Drive financial and operational value chain improvement and reporting through:Streamlined, system driven, accurate, on-time, reporting based on operational value drivers. This will include budget and/or target tracking.Supporting Management Team in prioritizing and taking remedial actions where operational value drivers are not met through enquiry root cause analysis, action planning and implementationEnsure that customer requirements are consistently met through constant monitoring of operational value chain and implementation of cost effective, productive improvements and other remedial actions.Driving innovation to ensure continuous improvement in operations and removal of the root causes of operational inefficiencies.Optimized and extended useful life of fixed assets.Drive long term, sustainable improvements in energy (electricity/water/fuel) efficiency and reliabilityAccountable for R 443 000 000 per Annum Sales Budget (Indirect).Accountable for 103 000 Ton per year maize meal production.

• Reporting to the WW VP of Supply Chain based in Belgium.• Responsible for R 115 000 000 COGS Budget.• Responsible for R 19 635 000 OPEX budget. • Responsible for: o Logistics - Shipping, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.o Customer service - Addressing inquiries in a timely and accurate fashiono Procurement - Supply chain management, forecast sourcing expenditures, etc.o Safety - Developing Safe Practices guidelines for production workers etc.o ISO 9001: 2015 - Enforcing policies, procedures and quality assurance measureso Production - Maintaining and monitoring productiono Warehousing JHB and Cape towno Importation of raw materials and finished goods for resaleo Exports to African countrieso Security and maintenance – Maintaining Utilisation and Reliability of equipmento Inventory control (R32 000 000) - Maximising profit with least amount of inventory investmento Waste management - Maximising profits to the company by reducing wasteo Ensuring compliance to AEL requirements• Managing projects in conjunction with the project manager:o Liquid plant – R 11 000 000 o New factory – R 115 000 000o New Dry plant – R 7 500 000• COGS reduction plan - Decreasing Company’s cost of goods sold and improving profit margins.• Efficiency improvement of plant - Implement systems that streamlined process and cut production time.• Capacity utilization and CAPEX spend approvals to optimise efficiency. • Forecasting and scheduling of imported goods.• Factory and production improvement projects.• Successful implementation of Formaldehyde emission control STEL 0.75ppm and TWA 0.75ppm.• Participation in monthly management/board meetings as senior management team member.• Formulation of operational strategy. • Attend Biannual WW operations meetings across the globe to discuss best practice and improvement strategies.
