As the Head of Backend Engineering, I lead the backend engineering team, handling everything from team leadership and project management to technical product ownership, hiring, and workflow optimization. I also stay involved in hands-on development tasks.I temporarily took on the role of Head of Frontend Engineering, where I successfully rebuilt the frontend team and aligned it with the organization's goals.

I started my career at Tom Tailor GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer in Web Development. Early on, I mentored junior and mid-level developers and took the initiative to organize and manage on-call duty. I was soon chosen to lead the bugfing team during the hypercare phase and later took on tech lead responsibilities. I also became the release manager, where I successfully automated the release process, making a full-time position in that area unnecessary.Thanks to my strong performance, I was promoted to Software Engineering Qan- ager. In this role, I managed an international e-commerce development team that included Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and CA teams, with both internal and eVternal members. My responsibilities involved planning and implementing technical changes, supporting the product management team, and overseeing internal and external resources, workflows, hiring, onboarding, technical support, specifications, and operational activities.
