The Load Control Officer makes sure that the goods loaded on the aircraft do not exceed the weight limitations and calculates how to load the aircraft evenly to increase the aircraft stability and cut down on fuel usageHe supervises the loading of the aircraft and instructs the loaders ( teams of 8 to 15 people) and the boarding of the passengers.He takes all the necessary actions to ensure a safe and on time departure of the aircraft.He prepares and finalises the load sheet with correct figures and he provides the finalised load sheet to the cockpit crew so they can prepare their flight in an optimal way.
