VDL FLOW has initiated the development, production and sales of integrated Roll-to-Roll production tools for Flexible electronics. VDL FLOW is embedded into the VDL-ETG organisation and can therefore build upon years of experience in design and manufacturing of industrial equipment.

As from December 15, 2013, Lumiteq B.V. started operation. Lumiteq develops the Light Management technology for Opto-electronic devices, such as PV panels, OLED Lighting, Displays and more. It offers a competitive solution for the application of textured Layers on surfaces to enhance the efficiency of light in or out coupling at the interfaces.Lumiteq has a staff of 14 employees, all formerly employed with OM&T B.V. The light management technology is a spin-off from the R&D projects of OM&T. Unfortunately due to unforeseen hick-ups in releasing the guaranteed start-up funds, we have not been able to keep Lumiteq in the air.

OM&T is the European R&D centre of Moser Baer India Ltd. (MBI). In its long history as a development centre of optical-disc technology, OM&T has successfully contributed to prototyping, standardization and pilot-production of advanced optical-disc formats such as DVD and Blu-ray Disc. Based on this history, OM&T started and continues to support the professional business in test discs (used by optical disc drive manufacturers) and stampers (used by disc replicators) of which the production recently has been moved to India. OM&T’s main focus today is on R&D in the field of energy-efficient devices, such as photovoltaic and OLED lighting modules. It is using its specialist knowledge of lithography, electro-plating, replication, thin-film technology and system integration to develop new concepts and production processes for products with improved energy-efficiency and lifetime at reduced manufacturing costs. The aim of the R&D programs is to generate new business opportunities for OM&T and to support MBI’s rapidly expanding business groups in solar energy and solid-state lighting.Located at the High Tech Campus in Eind hoven, the Netherlands, OM&T has access to world class R&D facilities on site.
