About Jana Baumann

"My success lies in the success of others." This is my personal mission statement expressing my life's goal to serve others in whatever capacity I am able or role I am in. I am no stranger to leadership, as it has been a role I have found myself in throughout various aspects of my professional, as well as personal, life. The irony of that fact is that early on in my career my aspirations were not necessarily focused on climbing the corporate ladder and obtaining positions of leadership. My primary goal was, and still is, to continually learn and better myself so that I may be of better service to those around me. No matter what my title was, I wanted to use my skills and abilities to help others succeed. It wasn’t until later on in my career that it clicked; that is exactly what a good leader is. A good leader is not one who is inwardly focused on power and success for themselves, though being proud of one’s accomplishments is not inherently a bad thing, but aims their focus outward on the needs of those being led. I have embraced leadership as my venue for accomplishing my goals for success in that I am focused on making sure other have the tools, training, support, and encouragement conducive to their success. When each member of the team finds personal success, it ensures the success of the company.
