Taught visiting Korean Middle School Students English. Helped beginning readerswith decoding and fluency. Sessions were one on one for one hour. Most students attended one weekly or bi-weekly session

Taught all levels of math through Algebra 1. Bulk of my students were middle schoolstudents that needed pre-algebra and algebra homework assistance. They came once or twice a week. I also developed a summer curriculum for students to keep their math skills fresh.

Taught three sections of 8th grade American History and two elective hours that included foods and technologyo 2000 – 2001 & 1997 – 1998 school years – Served as a supervising teacher for Michigan State Intern. Responsible for mentoring and preparing MSU intern to be a successful classroom teacher.

Junior Varsity Coach for 20 high school girls. Assisted the Varsity Coach with 18 Varsity players. Together we developed and motivated our players resulting in state championships in 1994, 1995, 1998 1999, 2000 and 2001

Taught 6th through 8th grade students in the subjects of Math, Language Arts and American History o 1995-1996 - Responsibilities included teaching two sections of 6th grade language arts, two sections of social studies and two sixth grade exploratory classes. • Social Studies Department Chairperson. Responsible for textbook adoptions and providing necessary supplies. Also, needed to keep curriculum in alignment with state and national standards. o 1994-1995 - Responsibilities included teaching two sections of 6th grade language arts and two sections of social studies and two sixth grade explanatories.o 1993-1994 - Responsibilities included teaching two sections of 8th grade American History, one 6th grade exploratory, and part time math resource teachero 1992-1993 - Long Term Substitute teacher/half time for the winter and spring. Head of gifted and talented program and taught one section of American History.

Developed a strong singles and doubles ladder that led to capturing number 2 in the state tournament – the best finish in school history
