I am a young professional with a background in software development, research, and international experience. I have an interest in all aspects of the software development process. Education:I graduated from North Carolina State University with BS degrees in Computer Science and Biological Science with a minor in Psychology. I have an interest in software development and research. Software experience:I have experience working within software development including an internship focusing on software testing and quality assurance and have been working full time programming in C#, JavaScript, and the ASP.NET framework, as well as working with SQL databases. Research experience:I have several years of experience in a lab research setting working with neuroendocrine and nutrition research where I have completed a research project involving immunohistochemistry.International experience:I studied abroad in Poland while in college and did independent travel in Europe where I developed an appreciation for travel. The experience also enhanced my cultural awareness, communication skills, and management abilities while becoming more adaptable, confident, patient, and focused. Where I am headed:My desire is to be a part of a team to help with software development by creating, maintaining, and testing software. I am currently pursuing this in my employment as a programmer and analyst at RTI International, where I am focused on gaining more experience in software design and development. I offer my strengths of organization, focus, creativity, and adaptability to any company I work for.
